Langley Vale visitors hub

This scheme - submitted in an open competition hosted by the Woodland Trust - provides space for staff and the public with a meeting room, offices, storage and kitchen area. Arranged over ground floor level, the building is simple in form, designed to reflect the gentle rolling surrounding landscape. A colonnade of timber columns around the perimeter of the building provide an elegant outdoor covered space and reference the surrounding woodlands. The proposed building is clad in timber panels and has large window openings to provide views over the landscape.
